Patrick McClure, “Pat”, of Okemah, left this earth on April 24,2024,in Tulsa at the ripe age of 80.

He was born in Bristow, March 2, 1944, to “Bill” and Letty McClure. Pat played football while attending high school then went on to join the United States Marines. He served in the Infantry, two tours in Vietnam, and with the Intelligence in Hawaii. He retired after serving many years as an E6 Staff Sergent.

Pat lived life to the fullest through the simple pleasures of working as a cattle rancher, raising chickens, visiting with friends and family, and helping those in need. He was an avid talker and had a knack for making people laugh.

Pat is survived by his son, William “Paul” McClure; granddaughter Mary Margaret, three brothers and sister-inlaws Mike and Lydia McClure, of Idabel, Chris McClurem of Wetumka, and Marvin Mc-Clurem of Okemah, three sisters Patricia Wagonerm of Claremore and Alice and Ellen McClure, of Haworth; niece, Vicki White; nephews, Ronald Rogers and Chris Rogers, niece Joyce Rogers; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and others whose lives he touched.

He is preceded in death by his wife Margaret “Jo”, parents Bill and Letty, brothers Joseph, Teddy, and Dee, sister Mary, and brother Donald.
